Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of occupational therapy after Chinese herbal fumigation for improving the fine motor function of children with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods Seventy cases of children with spastic cerebral palsy were randomly divided into two groups, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received routine occupational therapy, while the observation group received occupational therapy after Chinese herbal fumigation. The FMFM score was used for evaluation before training and 3 months after training, and the curative effects of two groups were compared. Results After therapy, both groups had improved upper limb movement function at different degree, and the FMFM scores improved significantly compared with those before therapy. The total effective rate of observation group was 85.71%, significantly higher than 62.86%of control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Chinese herbal fumigation combined with occupational therapy can promote the recovery of children with spastic cerebral palsy, and improve the fine motor function of both hands.关键词
