Abstract

Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of the improved vacuum-assisted closure and SCT in the treatment of intractable wounds.Method: In the research, 60 patients with intractable wounds in our hospital were chosen and divided into the conventional group and the research group, each group had 30 cases. The patients in the conventional group were cured by the improved vacuum-assisted closure while that of the research group were cured by the improved vacuum-assisted closure combining with SCT. The clinical efficacy, cytokine expression at different time after treatment, times of dressing change and treatment cycle of the two groups were compared. Result: The total effective rate, vascular endothelial cell after one week and two weeks of treatment, the expression rate of epidermal growth factor in the research group were higher than that in the conventional group(P<0.05). Comparing to the conventional group, the research group had earlier growth time of granulation tissue, shortertreatment cycle and fewer times of dressing change(P<0.05).Conclusion: The combination of the improved vacuum-assisted closure and SCT in the treatment of intractable wounds has significant efficacy, which can reduce the body pain of the patients, improve the quality of the patients’ life. It should be well applied by the medical institutions.
