Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of multi & tortuous reed jaw cushion-type orthotic appliance in correcting anterior teeth deformity.Method:One hundred and sixty-eight patients with anterior teeth deformity admitted to our hospital from September 2010 to September 2014 were selected as the research objects,including anterior teeth in 58 cases,62 patients with mixed dentition and permanent dentition in 48 cases,they were divided into the control group and the research group according to the different correction methods. The control group was given duplex & tortuous reed jaw cushion-type orthotic appliance for treatment,and the research group was given multi & tortuous reed jaw cushion-type orthotic appliance for treatment,and the removal time of occlusion(de-occlusion),frequency of further consultation and fixation status of orthotic appliances between the two groups were compared.Result:In anterior teeth,mixed dentition,permanent dentition,there were no statistically significant differences in the removal time of occlusion(de-occlusion) between the two groups(P>0.05),the frequency of further consultation of the research group were significantly less than those of the control group,the fixed success rates of the research group were significantly higher than the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Multi & tortuous reed jaw cushion-type orthotic appliance applied in patients with deformity of anterior teeth can effectively reduce the frequency of further consultation,and it can increase good fixation rate of orthotic appliance,is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practices.关键词
