Abstract
ObjectiveTo observe the change of video-electroencephalography(VEEG)before and after the treatment of adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH)in infantile spasms(IS),and analyze the recent and forward curative effect of IS. Methods 48 cases with IS long-term VEEG recorded and analysed at before,under and after six months of treatment of ACTH.Results The effective rates of VEEG improvement under treatment and after six months of treatment were 47.9% and 62.4%. The effective rates of the situation of convulsive seizurs were 52.1% and 68.7%.Conclusion ACTH can improve the situation of VEEG and convulsive seizurs effectively. The long-term curative effect is more significantly than the recent curative effect.关键词
