Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of extended care in elderly fractures patients.Methods 152 cases of elderly fractures patients were selected in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2014, all the patients were randomly divided into two groups, there were 76 cases in each group, the patients of the study group were implemented the extended care interventions, the patients of the control group were implemented the general discharge guidance, the disease-related knowledge, physical functional rehabilitation status and degree of fracture healing; compliance and quality of life in two groups were compared.ResultsThe knowledge about the disease, the recovery of limb function and the degree of fracture healing score, the compliance rates of the study group were significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), quality of life score of two groups on the sixth months after discharge was significantly higher than discharge, the quality of life score of the study group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Elderly fractures patients treated with extended care can increase the level of understanding of the disease knowledge, improve compliance compliance behavior, promote recovery from disease, enhance quality of life.关键词
