Abstract
Objective To explore anti-aging effect of antioxidant compound enzyme in D-galactose aging model mice. Methods Forty mice were randomly assigned to four groups: normal group, aging model group, low and high dose compound enzyme groups. D-galactose [100mg/(kg·d)] was subcutaneously injected to the back of mice except for normal group mice. Mice drunk compound enzyme solution in low and high dose compound enzyme groups for 8 weeks, however mice drunk water in other groups. The activities of super oxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) of serum and kidney were measured. Structural changes of renal tissue were observed. The expression of senescence associated proteins were detected. Results Compound enzyme had no effect on the body weight of mice. Compound enzyme could decrease the increase of blood glucose and cholesterol of mice induced by D-galactose (P < 0.05). Compared with normal group, the activities of SOD and GSH-Px of serum and kidney were decreased in aging model group, however the content of MDA was increased (P<0.05);Compared with aging model group, compound enzyme could increase the activities of SOD and GSH-Px, however decrease the content of MDA (P < 0.05). In addition, compound enzyme could alleviate kidney impairment of aging model mice and regulate senescence associated protein expression. Conclusion Compound enzyme can increase the clearance of reactive oxygen species, decrease organism impairment, and delay aging.关键词
