Investigation and analysis of the proportion of drug income of children healthcare institutions in Guangzhou
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the present status of the proportion of drug income of the pediatrics in general hospitals in Guangzhou, in order to provide data support and scientific basis for the government to control the proportion of drug income and formulating compensation policies. Methods The revenue data of 34 children healthcare institutions from January 2010 to December 2012 in Guangzhou was collect by a homemade questionnaire,including total revenue, medical and drug revenue and expenditure.The proportion of drug income of hospitals at all levels was analyzed by descriptive research methods. Results (1)The proportion of drug income of pediatrics is generally higher than the average proportion of the whole hospital in Guangzhou, among which the second-class hospitals has the highest proportion of 54.6%,the hospitals below second-class is 44.6%and the tertiary hospitals is 50.2%.The proportion of drug income of outpatient and inpatient of pediatrics accounted for the highest are second-class hospital,37.6% and 65.0% respectively.(2)The total proportion of drug income of pediatric of maternal and child health hospitals at the county level is lower than the counterpart general hospitals,but the proportion of outpatient drug income of the former is much higher than that of the latter,which is up to 69.5%. Conclusion The proportion of drug income of the pediatrics of general hospital is high, which may affect the operation of the pediatrics. To develop new financial compensation policies for the pediatrics of general hospital is the key to keeping the proportion of drug income under control.关键词
