Abstract
Objective To study the effect of application opportunity of minocycline hydrochloride ointment on ultrasonic subgingival scaling in the treatment of chronic periodontitis. Methods 69 patients with moderate and severe chronic periodontitis,who were undergone electively with ultrasonic subgingival scaling in our hospital from April 2013 to Februry 2015,were selected and were randomly divided into A group(n=31) and B group(n=38) according to random number table.A group was treated with minocycline hydrochloride ointment injection in periodontal pocket 0.5~1h before subgingival scaling,while B group was treated with the same methods at the second day of subgingival scaling, once a week,and 4 weeks of successive application. To respectively detect and compare the plaque index(PI),gingival index(GI),bleeding on probing(BOP),probing depth(PD)between the two groups at pre-periodontal therapy and 2 months after periodontal therapy. Results The differences of PI,GI,BOP%,PD before treatment was no statistical significance compared with the two groups(P > 0.05),while which of the two groups after 2 months treatment were obviously reduced(P<0.05).After 2 months treatment,PI,PD,BOP%of patients in A group were obviously lower than which in B group,the differences was statically significant(P<0.05),while the differences of GI, AL was no statistical significance compared with the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion Minocycline hydrochloride ointment injection in periodontal pocket combined with ultrasonic subgingival scaling simultaneously could play the antibacterial effect in greater degree,is conducive to improve the treatment effect of chronic periodontitis,is better than subgingival scaling later medication.关键词
