摘要
Abstract
Biological rhythms are universal phenomena in live organisms, the variations of the timing and dura-tion of physiological functions and biological activities occur, to maintain the internal homeostasis and adapt the external environment.As a pivotal endocrine hormone, adrenal glucocorticoid plays an important role in keep-ing physical activities and nutrient metabolisms on track orderly.In natural environment, exogenous control fac-tors such as food and light rhythmically regulate the synthesis, secretion and biological effects by complex feed-back regulation between suprachiasmatic nucleus in thalamus and biological clocks.This paper mainly reviewed the rhythmical characteristics of synthesis, secretion and internal mechanism of adrenal glucocorticoid, to pro-vide mammal biological rhythms regulation mechanism with its potential use in animal production.关键词
