快时变多用户MIMO-OFDM系统中复杂度可调的子载波分组预编码技术
Grouped-Subcarrier Precoder with Adjustable Complexity for Multi-User MIMO-OFDM Systems in Time-Variant Wireless Channels

Abstract
In multi-user time-variant MIMO-OFDM system,the global beamformer of precoding all subchannels to⁃gether performs far better than the one of precoding each subcarrier individually. However,the complexity of the for⁃mer becomes prohibitive as the product of the number of transmit antennas at base-station and the total number of subcarriers increases up to or more than one thousand. To solve this problem,a grouped-subcarrier maximum signal-to-leakage-and-noise ratio(GS-Max-SLNR)precoder with adjustable complexity is proposed. Using theoretical mod⁃eling and simulations it is found that the proposed GS-Max-SLNR precoder can strike a good balance between com⁃plexity and performance by choosing a proper value of group number. It is noted that the idea of grouping can be easily extended to other classic precoders like block diagonalization,and minimum mean square error. Additionally,we also derive a simple formula for inter-group interference to help choose the proper number of groups given Doppler spread and signal-to-noise ratio.关键词
