Abstract
Objective To investigate the superiority of Narcotrend monitor for propofol and remifentanil total intravenous anesthesia. Methods 100 cases of patients with laparoscopic nephrectomy under general anesthesia were divided into group N ( Narcotrend group) and group E( experience delivery group) randomly. Patients in both two groups were treated with propofol and remifentanil total intravenous anesthesia. The infusion speed of propofol and remifentanil in group N was adjusted to maintain the NTS to level D2-E0 and it in group E was regulated by anesthetists according to clinical signs and experience. Results The aver-age infusion speed of propofol and remifentanil of group N was slower than group E. The fluctuation of MAP and HR in group N was smaller. The ratio of level D2-E0 NTS in group N was apparently higher. The calling eye opening time, extubation time and recovery time of group N patients was shorter. There were no difference in patients’ VAS score, adverse reactions rate, and intraoperative awareness rate between two groups. Conclusion The application of Narcotrend monitor to total intravenous anesthesia could control of the depth of anesthesia more precisely, reduce the dosage of propofol and remifentanil, reduce the fluctuations in patients’ life signs and shorten the recovery time of patients, but it made no significant difference to the intraoperative awareness rate.关键词
