Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect of ultrasound-guided core-needle biopsy for the diagnosis of thyroid disease in patients with thyroid nodule. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the clinical diagnostic data of 88 suspected patients of thyroid disease underwent thyroid nodule core-needle biopsy guided by ultrasound at Chengdu 363 Hospital from May 2013 to March 2015, and their histology and cytology data were also reviewed. Results 97. 56% of the patients completed the core-needle biopsy successfully, and the diagnosis rate was 95%. 22 patients were diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer, 2 pa-tients with medullary thyroid carcinoma, 32 patients with nodular goiter, 18 patients with thyroid cyst, 14 patients with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. The results of core-needle biopsy pathology in 22 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma and 2 cases of me-dullary thyroid carcinoma were consistent with the postoperative pathology. The accuracy of ultrasound-guided core-needle thyroid nodule biopsy for diagnosis of thyroid malignant carcinoma is 100%. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided core-needle biopsy is effec-tive with low complication rate and high success rate in the diagnosis of thyroid disease.关键词
