摘要

Abstract

Winter in Xinjiang is cold and long.Construction of the water-diverted hydropower project in the high-elevation region often faces severe challenges in winter.The approach channel is with severe ice occurrence.The ice in the approach channel is the key factor affecting the normal operation of the hydropower station.Because of the quite temperature difference between daytime&night time and the unique nat-ural geographic conditions, ice production and thawing in the approach channel are extremely frequent.To avoid ice breaking, fishing and striking, etc in the approach channel of hydropower station in winter, the station often operates with the ice cover in the approach channel. With the practice of the approach channel of Budaer Hydropower Station on the Tashikurgan River, how to design the ice cover in the ap-proach channel of the water-diverted hydropower project is described in detail.
