The effect of amlodipine combined with valsartan in the improvement of left ventricular diastolic function in essential hypertension

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of amlodipine combined with valsartan in improving the left ventricular diastolic function in patients with hypertension and to evaluate the clinical value of echocardiography in evaluating left ventricular diastolic function.Methods:140 patients with essential hypertension were selected.They were randomly divided into two groups.The control group were treated with valsartan,while the experimental group were treated with amlodipine on the basis of the control group. Results:After 1 months of treatment,the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were significantly lower than before the treatment(P<0.01);after 3 months,the reduction was more obvious,and the effect of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 1 months of the treatment,the Em and Em/Am of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 months of the treatment,the LAVI of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of amlodipine combined with valsartan in the treatment of essential hypertension antihypertensive is obvious.We can observe the reversal of diastolic function after 1 month of the treatment.The Em/Am,Em reflect the improvement of diastolic function firstly.关键词
