Optical Design of LED Lens Using Light Flux Ray Method
摘要
Abstract
This paper proposes a new approach for non-imaging optical design called the Light Flux Ray (LFR) method.From known LED light intensity distribution and the required target illumination distribution in image plane or required lamp intensity distribution , the two or more free-form surface shape of the LED secondary optical lens can be obtained all at once with this method of reversed design .The definition and characters of LER , the calculation method , the procedure for solving lens surface shape are introduced .A number of examples of calculation using this method also provided .This method has many advantages include simple, intuitive and practical .It can be used in a variety of occasions , and can be used in the design reflectors .Over the years , this method has been successfully used in many optical engineering design .关键词
