摘要

Abstract

In order to study the electron emission characteristics and lifetime of the ferroelectric cathode,(Pb0.9 1 La0.09 )(Zr0.6 5 Ti0.3 5 )0.9 7 7 5 O3 (PLZT 9/65/35 )ferroelectric ceramic materials were prepared by conventional solid-phase synthesis process and silver electrodes patterns of ferroelectric cathodes were made by the silk screen printing technique craft.The relationship between the emission current excited by high-voltage pulses with a repetition frequency of 38Hz and launches was studied.The macro and micro structure of the cathode sample before and af-ter the experiments was recorded by taking pictures and scanning electron microscopy.The ex-periment results indicate that lifetime of PLZT 9/65/35 ferroelectric cathode exceeds 4 × 10 6 shots.The main reasons for the damage of cathode samples are the corrosion effect of surface plasmas formed in the process of strong electron emission.
