摘要

Abstract

Partial discharge (PD)experiment on needle-plate defect of typical oil paper insulation system with alternative cur-rent (AC)voltage is conducted,analysis on PRPD spectrum diagram and typical pulse waveform of the defect is carried on, and according to distribution trend of PD pulse in PRPD spectrum diagram,development process of PD is divided into three stages. Experimental results indicate that PD pulse with oil paper insulation AC voltage could be divided into two types, which may respectively represent PD in structure of oil paper insulation and PD in bubble. With rise of voltage,negative po-larity discharge along the surface of insulation paper occurs which may cause large damage to the insulation paper,bring a-bout performance degradation of insulation paper and finally result in dielectric breakdown. Research on development process of PD of structure of oil paper insulation with rise of voltage level has important meanings for realizing transformer online monitoring system.
