Abstract
To meet freshwater-intake requirement for the coastal nuclear power plant, based on the traditional caisson structure, an irregular caisson structure has been designed to be the temporary water-intake facilities of the nuclear power plant during the construction period. And the key points on plane and structural layout are summarized for the design of water-intake facilities of nuclear power plant. According to relevant port engineering codes, soil pressure, wave force and the variable mean load have been combined at random to calculate the stability and internal force of this irregular caisson structure. It is proved from the aspects of layout, calculation and project cost that the irregular caisson structure may work as the temporary water-intake facilities of the coastal nuclear power plant. The plane layout and calculation method of irregular caisson will provide a reference for similar projects.关键词
