Design of and Test on Colorless,Directionless,Contentionless, and Gridless ROADM Nodes
摘要
Abstract
In response to the demand for the development of intelligent optical networks,a multi-dimensional Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM)node is proposed on the basis of the independently developed 1 × 9 tunable band-width wavelength selective switch in this paper,and the related tests are conductedon its various performancesby using signals at two fixed bandwidth wavelengths,i.e.10 Gbit/s and 1 Tbit/s.The test results show that this ROADM node is colorless,di-rectionless,contentionless,and gridless.关键词
