Lgr5在结肠癌组织中的表达及促进转移的临床研究
Expression of Lgr5 in the colon cancer tissues and its transfer promoting role
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To detect the expression of Lgr5 in the colon cancer tissue,and to explore its correlation with the clinical and pathological characteristics and its role in promoting the tumor invasion and metastasis.Methods:A total of 102 specimens from the patients with colon cancer who were admitted in the General Surgery Department of our hospital for resec-tion from April,2013 to October,201 5 were included in the study;meanwhile,35 colorectal adenoma specimens,and 137 normal colon tissue specimens were collected.The immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of Lgr5.Re-sults:The positive rate of Lgr5 in the colon cancer tissues (62.75%)was significantly higher than that in the adenoma tissues (28.57%)and normal tissues (1 6.06%).The positive expression of Lgr5 in the colon cancer tissues was associated with the ad-enocarcinoma differentiation degree,Dukes staging,lymphatic metastasis,and distant metastasis (P <0.01 ).Meanwhile,it was found by the Logistic regression that the adenocarcinoma differentiation degree,lymphatic metastasis,and distant metasta-sis were the independent predictive factors for the positive expression of Lgr5.Conclusions:The increase of Lgr5 expression is probably involved in the formation,differentiation,invasion,and metastasis of colon cancer;therefore,Lgr5 is expected to be a new therapeutic target aiming at colon cancer stem cells.关键词
