Abstract
Due to its unique geographical location and important strategical status,the Antarctica has be-come a significant "stage",on which various countries compete for their overall national strength,to show scientific research abilities,and to expand their political influences.The Antarctic Treaty and relat-ed agreements,collectively known as the Antarctic Treaty System (ATS),regulate international relations with respect to Antarctica.ATS has been developed more than 50 years and its main objective is to en-sure the interests of all humankind that Antarctica shall be used exclusively for peaceful purposes and be-come the scene or object of international discord.China has played an important role as a party member under the ATS.How to make the Antarctic Treaties effective in domestic legal system,it requires to es-tablish a perfect treaty -application system.The paper summarized the theory of the treaty application, combined with the practice status of treaties application in China,particularly focused on the Antarctic Treaties.It also introduced the administrative litigation of the ATS application system in China and ana-lyzed the problems of the present system,emphasized the importance of domestic litigation for the Antarc-tic Treaties.关键词
