摘要

Abstract

This paper studied the multi-objective optimization problem of drum brake,and established a multi-objective opti-mization model with the objective of maximizing the braking efficiency,minimizing the volume and temperature rise.As the deficiency of classic non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm Ⅱ (NSGA-Ⅱ)in solving the three target optimization problems, it proposed an improved algorithm (OXNSGA-Ⅱ)by introducing orthogonal design strategy into the NSGA-Ⅱ.The experi-ments on a series of DTLZ test functions show that the improved algorithm has better performance than NSGA-Ⅱ,Pareto ar-chived evolution strategy (PAES)and cellular genetic algorithm for multiobjective optimization (MOCell)in solving three tar-get optimization problems.The results of optimizing the brake design instance reveal that the improved algorithm can find bet-ter-distributed Pareto front than NSGA-Ⅱ,and it is useful in solving this kind of multiobjective optimization problems.
