Abstract
According to results of UMTS900 trail network and 2G/3G network conditions of Guangdong Unicom, the necessity of UMTS900 in urban areas was analyzed in aspects of WCDMA network coverage and capacity. In addition, feasibilities of UMTS900 in urban areas were analyzed from perspectives of 2G network capacity reduction, interference between GSM900 and UMTS900 and terminal penetration.关键词
