Abstract
Objective:To understand the mental health status of rural left -behind children in poor areas in the West ,take Tongren as an example ,and to provide reference for the mental health education of the left-behind chil‐dren in this area .Methods:Using the Primary and Middle School Student Mental Health Diagnosis Test(MHT)writ‐ten by Professor Zhou Bucheng of East China Normal University to investigate 458 left-behind children from Ton‐gren City .At the same time ,419 non-left-behind children were selected as the control group .Results:① The men‐tal health level of rural left-behind children belonged to normal range ,but the scores of learning anxiety(t=2 0.42 , p<0 0.5) ,lonely tendency(t=5 1.30 ,P<0 0.01) ,terror tendency(t=2 1.55 ,P<0 0.5)were significantly higher than non-left-behind children;②Left -behind children in poor areas in the West had very significant academic year differences in learning anxiety ,interpersonal anxiety ,allergic tendencies and impulsive tendencies(t=5 5.10 ,‐3 9.87 ,‐7 0.05 ,‐3 8.29 ;P<0 0.01);③The left -behind boys'scores of learning anxiety(t=‐2 0.17 ,P<0 0.5) ,self accusation tendency(t=‐3 7.52 ,P<0 0.01) and physical symptoms(t=‐2 6.69 ,P<0 .01) were significantly lower than girls'. Conclusion:The level of mental health of rural left-behind children in poor areas belongs to the normal range ,but it is still the focus of our attention for long time from the score of each factor .关键词
