摘要

Abstract

For the problem of analysing and predicting players churning in MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game), we built a churn analysis model using Cox proportional hazard model to study the factors of players churning,and to predict the churning as well.Specifically,we analysed the impacts of social networks features of players in the game (players’friendships,secondary degree friendships and chats between friends)on players’churning behaviours.Experiments on the game of “Stars Variation”of SDO showed that the social networks the players located in game significantly affected the churning behaviours of players,and could improve the effect of prediction.In comparison with support vector machine,Logistic regression and naive Bayes,the Cox model is proved more suitable for the players churn prediction task.
