Abstract
As one of the important driving forces for knowledge transfer and knowledge sharing,the distributed innovation network has a strong influence on the enterprises’innovation capabilities. However,there has been a hot debate among ex-isting theories about how the strength of network ties influences innovation capability. From the perspective of distributed innovation network,the paper analyzed the relationship between strength of network ties and different innovation modes. With reviewing the theoretical knowledge of distributed innovation network,this paper pointed out the chief differences be-tween radical innovation and incremental innovation. Then,based on the previous researches on the relationship between the strength of network ties and innovation performance,the paper summarized the main advantages and disadvantages of both strong tie and week tie of network. Finally,according to the different needs of the two unique innovation modes for strength of network ties,the paper concluded the relationship between strength of network ties and two different innovation modes. The conclusion can provide a theoretical foundation and meaningful analysis direction for future empirical research.关键词
