Abstract
[Abstrat] Objective:To investigate the occurrence, distribution and primate dentition of the fusion of deciduous teeth in xi'an. Method:By using epidemiological investigation in 15 kindergartens, 3488 children aged 3~6 years were checked and fused teeth were in X examination and model analysis. Result:Of 3488 children investigated, fusion of decid-uous teeth were in 68 children(1.95 percent) without sex divergence. The fused teeth mainly located in mandibular anterior teeth area(91.18 percent),frequently unilaterally(91.18 percent). 6 of 68 cases were symmetrical distribution(8.82 per-cent). The primate space is highest in fusion of deciduous dentition, about 47.06 %, followed by mixed space, about 44.12 %. Double side of terminal plane accounted for 69.12 %, mixed 30.88 %.In the unilateral mandibular fused teeth, the width of maxillary teeth did not change significantly; but the average width of mandibular teeth reduced 2 mm. Con-clusion:The occurrence of the fused teeth may cause some complications, also influence the space of deciduous dentition, the width of primate teeth and the width of primate dentition. Pediatric dentists should pay attention to the fused teeth oc-curred in preschool children.关键词
