摘要

Abstract

Various cadmium sulphide(CdS)materials have been prepared by hydrothermal route. CdS samples were screened for the best degradation activity of Safranine T. A series of silicotungstic heteropolyacid/CdS nanocrystals (HSiW/CdS)with various HSiW contents were prepared by impregnation method, and then characterized by FT-IR, XRD and TEM. The key factors influencing degradation rate for Safranine T such as, the type of light source(ultravio-let and solar light), different amount of composite of HSiW/CdS and the pH value of reaction system were discussed. The results show that B-2(the ratio of HSiW to CdS is 3 to 7)exhibiting the best activity for degradation under acid condition, with the degradation rate of 87.6%for Safranine T under UV light irradiation for 120 min, while degrada-tion rate of almost 100%achieves under solar light.Synergistic effects in HSiW/CdS make it much better than single CdS or HSiW.
