摘要

Abstract

Product innovation has become the key to strategic transformation of Chinese sports enterprises ,and the environmental uncertainty challenges to the innovative resources and capabilities of sports enterprises. Based on the resource-based theory and dynamic capability perspective ,this study explores the relationship between flexibility of resource and capability with product innovation performance of sports enterprises ,based on a questionnaire survey of 241 Chinese sports enterprises. Both of resource and capability flexibility have significant positive effects on sports product innovation performance;Capabili⁃ty flexibility plays important mediating role between resource flexibility and product innovation performance;Environmental uncertainty has no significant moderating effect on the relationship between resource flexibility and product innovation performance ,but has certain moderating effect on the relationship between capability flexibility and product innovation performance. The resource flexibility and capability flexibility are the important promoting factors on sports product innovation performance in the uncertain environment. In the process of product innovation ,Chinese sports enterprises should not only develop the resource flexibility,but also develop the coordination flexibility of using the resources within and outside the organization harmonically to break through the lack of innovative resources and capabilities and strengthen the adaptability to environment ,and provide resource and capabilities security for sports prod⁃uct innovation. The paper provides constructive guidance for the product innovation management of Chinese sports enterprises.
