Abstract
Objective:To explore relationships between miRNA-200 family and chemo-therapy efficiency,prognosis of patients with advanced ovarian cancer. Methods:A total of 47 patients with advanced ovarian cancer ( FIGO stages III~IV) were enrolled in this study at our hospital. Real-time PCR was performed to detect the mRNA level of miRNA-200 family ( miR-141,miR-200a,miR-200b,miR-200c,miR-429),then we analysed the expressional correlation and its relationship with TP chemotherapy efficacy and prognosis of patients. Results:In 47 ca-ses of ovarian cancer tissues,the average expression of miR-200c was the highest,miR-141 was the lowest,and the level of miR-200b,miR-200a and miR-429 were in the range. The expres-sion of miR-200 a was positively correlated with the other members ( P<0 . 05 ) . The expressions of miR-200a and miR-200c in complete response (CR) patients were totally higher than that in no CR patients ( P<0 . 05 ) . MiR-200 a and miR-200 c expression level were also significantly as-sociated with 1-year and 3-year survival rates. The progression-free survival and median survival time were longer in patients with high level of miR-200c than in others. Conclusions:The dif-ferent expression levels of miR-200 family were followed with different chemotherapy efficiency and prognosis of patients. MiR-200a and miR-200c expression levels were correlated with TP treatment efficiency and prognosis of ovarian cancer patients.关键词
