Abstract
Strength,fatigue and stability are the main mechanical performance of bellows, and must be fully considered in the design process.The finite element model of bellows under external pressure and ax-ial extension loads is established, and limit-load analysis, buckling analysis and elastic-plastic fatigue analysis of ASME Ⅷ-2 are applied.The analysis results show that limit-load analysis can accurately de-termine the limit load of the bellows,and have no restriction on design parameters and structural dimen-sions of the bellows;buckling analysis can determine the bellows′buckling limit load;elastic-plastic fa-tigue analysis can predict failure position and the fatigue life of the bellows.The results of the study have a certain reference value for designing bellows.关键词
