Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical efficacy of tanreqing injection in treatment of mumps and pancreatitis .METHODS:120 cases with mumps and pancreatitis admitted into Infectious Diseases Hospital of Liaoning from Jan.2006 to Jan.2008 were selected to be divided into two groups via the random number table , with 60 cases in each group.The control group were given intravenous infusion and support therapy , while based on the control group , the observation group additionally received 1 mg/kg tanreqing injection with 10%dextrose injection 250~500 ml in intravenous infusion, once a day , 5 d for a treatment course .The difference of fever duration , fever clearance time , disappearance time of parotid gland swelling pain, abdominal pain and vomiting, recovery time of serum amylase and urine amylase between two group of patients were compared .RESULTS:There were statistically significant differences between observation group in terms of fever duration (1.72 ±0.62) d, fever clearance time (4.32 ±1.02) d, disappearance time of parotid gland swelling pain (2.51 ±0.51) d, abdominal pain and vomiting (5.52 ±2.02) d, recovery time of serum amylase (2.72 ±0.52) d and urine amylase (5.0 ±1.32) d and control group [(3.12 ±1.30) d, (6.02 ±2.12) d, (4.12 ±1.05) d, (7.02 ±2.12) d, (5.02 ±1.32) d and (6.52 ±1.72) d] (P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy of tanreqing injection in treatment of mumps and pancreatitis is significant , it can be applied into the conventional therapy .关键词
