Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of α-lipoic acid in treatment of diabetic nephropathy by meta-analysis .METHODS: Papers on clinical study of α-lipoic acid in treatment of diabetic nephropathy were retrieved, which were screened according to the inclusive criteria .The randomized controlled trial of α-lipoicacid and the normal control group were made by meta-analysis .RESULTS:There were 14 literatures included in our study .α-lipoic acid in treatment of diabetic nephropathy was better than that of control group in aspects of decreasing UAER{WMD=-1.73 [ 95%CI =( -2.76 , -0.71 ) , P =0.001 ]}, but there were no significant difference between treatment group and control group in decreasing BUN{WMD=-0.03 [95%CI=(-0.54,0.47),P=0.898]}, SCr{WMD=0.04 [95%CI=( -0.12,0.2),P=0.62]} and HbA1c {WMD=-0.09[95%CI=( -0.36,0.19),P=0.086 8 ]}. CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of combined treatment with α-lipoic acid in treatment of diabetic nephropathy is better than conventional treatment group .关键词
