Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the application status and development trend of oral hypoglycemic drugs in outpatient departments of the Fifth People 's Hospital of Shanghai Fudan University ( hereinafter referred to as "our hospital") , and to provide reference for the rational drug use in clinic .METHODS: The subjective indicators as defined daily dose ( DDD ) , defined daily dose system ( DDDs ) and defined daily cost ( DDC ) were adopted to statistically analyze the application situation of oral hypoglycemic in the outpatient department of our hospital during 2012-2014 .RESULTS:The varieties and consumption sum of oral hypoglycemic drugs increased year by year .The top 3 hypoglycemic drugs ranked by DDDs were glipizide , dimethylbiguanide and repaglinide .The top 3 hypoglycemic drugs ranked by consumption sum were acarbose , repaglinide, glimepiride.The ratio of consumption sum serial number versus DDDs serial number was within 0.20-5 . CONCLUSIONS: The application amount of glipizide , dimethylbiguanide and repaglinide dominated the first place for three consecutive years , and the application of oral hypoglycemic drugs is basically rational in our hospital .关键词
