From the Land Ethic to Ecocentrism：the Approach of Holistic Environmental Ethic
摘要
Abstract
As the representative of ecocentrism, J� Baird Callicott, based upon the land ethic of Aldo Leopold, has materialized the holistic environmental ethic, with respect to its axiological foundation, sentimental bedrock and practical principles� Ecocentrism, focused on “ecosystem heath”, bears great significance to the strategies of real environmental management� In this article, I trace the approach of the holistic environmental ethic in the above three aspects, and investigate potential tensions within this theory and its practical possibility.关键词
