Abstract
Our country's pig breeding stands loe level in a long time, it leads to the problems of supply unsteable and waves of meat price. In order to development of scale breeding, Chinese government started the standardized-scaled pig breeding support policy in 2007. This paper provides empirical analysis based on data from a field investigation. The result shows that (1) this policy has a mild effect on the scaled pig breeding; (2) the scale change of pig breeding was primarily affected by the number of sow herds in previous year, pig slaughter prices, the cost of feed, number of pig breeding staff, site area and other factors. Therefore,it is necessary for governmentto introduce policies to stabilize the prices of grain and pork, reduce the price risk and uncertainty faced by farmers.关键词
