Why Are We Focusing on Literary Life?-The Significance,Methodology and Implications of Research on Literary Life
摘要
Abstract
Literary life research is becoming an academic issue of growing interest to scholars.It implies a new literary perspective which gives full attention to the relations between literature and social reality,es-pecially the social acceptance and social influence of literature rather than interpreting literature within the confines of literature.The research is deeply related to the social change,namely the advent of the Infor-mation Age.The research employs such methods as social survey,statistics,and case study,which are distinctively of great value.Surely,it is not easy to conduct literary life research,which requires global thinking,strong problem consciousness and scientific positivism as well as meticulous work ranging from selecting topics and designing research to conducting surveys.Literary life research can provide inspiration for many subjects;however,it remains under exploration,with much doubt and confusion.关键词
