Examining the Development of Fasting Rituals
斋戒为宗教仪式与活动的重要环节，各种宗教多半于不同的时机，举行方式、内容不同的斋戒。西方宗教以犹太教为主要根源，犹太教信徒均能根据经典训示，力行斋戒。即便移居欧洲，地理环境与生产活动不同，仍维持不辍。但基督教传入西欧地区，对斋戒不断修正，其内容与经典往往相去甚远，训导意义也不同。本文即以基督宗教为核心，讨论斋戒与饮食之关联。
