Abstract
Objective To compare the monitoring results of two kinds of B-D test methods for new high-pressure steam sterilizer. Methods During the test of pulsing forevacuum steam sterilizer, disposable B-D test wrap method and process challenge device method were used to carry out 98 pots of time of synchronization testing. The sensitivity to monitoring leak of sterilizer of two methods was compared. Results Disposable B-D test wrap method was not found any leak, while the process challenge device method was found 9 times of leak confirmed by sterilizer leak test. The sensitivity of the two methods showed statistical difference (P <0.05), and the sensitivity of process challenge device method was more significant than that of B-D test wrap method. Conclusions Effective and sensitive process challenge device method for new high-pressure steam sterilizer can be used to make up for the problem that disposable B-D test wrap cannot monitor the leak of pressure steam sterilizer, so as to ensure the accuracy of performance monitoring results of sterilizer.关键词
