Abstract
Objective To analyze the feasibility and safety of modified small incision operation for the treatment of thyroid tumor. Methods A total of 165 cases of patients with thyroid tumor admitted to our hospital from March 2010 to March 2014 were selected and divided into the modified operation group (n = 86, modified small incision operation) and the routine operation group (n = 79, routine resection operation) according to patients' willing. The safety of operation and postoperative recovery situation were compared between two groups. Results The modified operation group was superior to the routine operation group in the intra-operative situations (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications of modified operation group was 5.8%(5/86), significantly lower than 16.5% (13/79) of routine operation group (P<0.05). Conclusions Modified small incision operation has high feasibility and safety for the treatment of thyroid tumor disease, which can obviously shorten the operation time, reduce the blood loss, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.关键词
