Abstract
Objective To explore the nursing of patients with lower extremity refractory bone infection treated by vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) technology. Methods A total of 58 cases of patients with lower extremity refractory bone infection treated by VSD technology admitted to our hospital from January 2012 to January 2015 were selected and randomly divided into two groups equally. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received comprehensive nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The clinical effects of two groups were compared. Results The infection control time, healing time of infected wounds and length of hospital stay of observation group were significantly shorter than those of control group, and the frequency of dressing change was significantly fewer than that of control group (P<0.05). The recurrence rate of infection of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group, and the total satisfaction rate was significantly higher than that of control group (P <0.05). Conclusions Personalized comprehensive nursing after VSD for patients with lower extremity refractory bone infection is an important part to improve the curative effect, which can promote the healing of wound, reduce the recurrence rate of infection, and reduce the economic burden of patients.关键词
