Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch With AC/DC Interconnection System Based on Benders Decomposition Method

Abstract
Security-constrained economic dispatch is the key issue for achieving secure, economic and efficient operation of AC/DC interconnection system. To this end, a novel iterative SCED mode was proposed to coordinate the problem both in time and space dimension in this paper. A SCED model for AC/DC interconnection system was established taking AC power flow equations, DC transmission system static operation functions, and time interval coupled constrains into consideration. To solve this large scale non-linear programming model, an efficient iterative algorithm was proposed based on Benders decomposition method. Case study was conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed mode, model and method in four aspects, including security performance, economic benefit, convergence progress and computational efficiency.关键词
