摘要

Abstract

Objective To study the expression of ERCC1 gene in breast cancer after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods The expres-sion of ERCC1 gene was detected by RT-PCR in 28 breast cancer patients without neoadjuvant chemotherapy and in 18 breast cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The expression and clinicopathological features of breast cancer as well as the relevance of the impact of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on it were analyzed. Results No chemotherapy patients ERCC1 expression level was signifi-cantly lower than the normal group, the difference was statistically significant ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . The differences of ERCC1 gene expression levels of the non chemotherapy group between different ages, tumor sizes, histological types, histological grades, axillary lymph nodes, PR, ER, HER-2 were not significant ( P ﹥ 0. 05 ) . Neoadjuvant chemotherapy group ERCC1 gene expression levels were significantly higher than those without chemotherapy group, the difference was statistically significant ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . Conclusion Compared with the normal, ERCC1 gene expression levels were significantly decreased in patients with breast cancer ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) and ERCC1 gene expression and Clinical pathological characteristics of breast cancer not associated, after neo-adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with raised the ERCC1 gene expression can occur, chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer patients have some reference value.
