Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and nursing countermeasures of seretide combined with noninvasive positive pres-sure ventilation for elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and respiratory failure. Methods Elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method. The two groups were both given noninvasive bi level positive pressure ventilation, on this basis the study group was added with seretide inhalation. Changes of arterial blood gas and pulmonary function before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, PaO2 of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, while PaCO2 was significantly lower than that of the control group ( t=3. 62, 2. 87, P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . After treatment, the FEV1%, FEV1/FVC and FEV1 of the study group were significantly improved compared with the control group ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . Conclusion Seretide combined with noninvasive positive pressure ventilation was an effective method in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease res-piratory failure. Effective nursing care could effectively reduce the complications and improve the success rate of treatment.关键词
