Abstract
OBJECTIVE:To promote the rational use of antibiotics , and to ensure the safe medication in patients . METHODS:The management strategy of antibiotics and monitoring measures of rational drug use that in accord with the conditions of Pi County People's Hospital ( hereinafter referred to as “our hospital”) were established by the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, and Action).RESULTS:After two cycles of PDCA during 2011-2013, there was a significant decrease in the use rate of antibiotics(from 72.19%in 2012 to 48.90%in 2013);and a significant increase in the detection rate of bacteriological examination (restricted antibiotics:from 60.28%in 2012 to 77.82%in 2013;specialized antibiotics:from 63.48%in 2012 to 95.31%in 2013).The use of antibiotics were tend to be more rational , and the medical quality had been effectively improved in our hospital .CONCLUSIONS:The implementation of PDCA cycle is feasible and effective , which can improve the rational use of antibiotics , and promote the level of rational drug use in our hospital .关键词
