External Fixation Combined with"Crank-Shake"Manipulation in Treatment of Unstable Distal Radius Fractures

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the therapeutic regimen of unstable distal radius fractures with external fixation combined with manipulation and its matters need attention. Methods:36 cases of patients were under general anesthesia (or brachial plexus anesthesia with neurotrunk blockage), first treated by manipulative reduction, then given external fixation, and continued with manipulation combined with herbal soaking for 2-3 weeks after external fixation removed. Results:15 cases were excellent, 18 cases were good, 3 cases were fair and no poor cases, the excellent and good rate was 91.67%. Conclusion:For the unstable distal radius fracture, the therapeutic regimen which first performs manipulative reduction under satisfactory anesthesia then external fixation, and finally treats with manipulation combined with herbal soaking can achieve a good functional rehabilitation, and it's a therapeutic regimen that has a good curative effect.关键词
