摘要

Abstract

Objective Evaluate the cold and hot characteristic of Homalomena occulta( Lour. )Schott by cellu-lar models. Methods MTT assay was used to investigate the effect of Homalomena occulta( Lour. )Schott on the growth of SGC-7901 in vitro. Morphological changes of SGC-7901 treated with Homalomena occulta( Lour. )Schott were observed through invert microscope. Trypan-blue staining was used to analyze the cytotoxicity of Homalomena oc-culta(Lour. )Schott. Results Homalomena occulta( Lour. )Schott can promote the growth and proliferation of SGC-7901 in the concentration range of 2-5 μg/mL. Morphological observation showed Homalomena occulta( Lour. ) Schott could increase the density of SGC-7901 in the same concentration range. Trypan-blue staining showed Homa-lomena occulta(Lour. )Schott had no cytotoxicity on SGC-7901. Conclusion The results reveal in this work that Homalomena occulta( Lour. )Schott shows a hot or warm characteristic and have no cytotoxicity.
