摘要

Abstract

In order to study X80 pipeline steel HAZ structure and mechanical properties changing rules along with cooling rate and welding heat input changing, the thermal simulation test was carried out for 26.4 mm thickness X80 pipeline steel, which possesses specific chemical composition and original metallographic structure. The results showed that using the accelerated cooling or low heat input welding technology, the cooling rate can be increased properly,the grain of HAZ is refined, the embrittlement and softening of the welding HAZ is improved or even eliminated, which can effectively improve the strength and toughness of X80 pipeline steel, and increase the qualified rate of products.
