Abstract
Objective:To investigate the relationship between interpersonal relationship and mental health of mili-tary freshmen in order to provide a theoretical and practical guidance for psychological health education of military cadets.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted in 591 military freshmen by convenient sampling method,a-dopting interpersonal comprehensive diagnostic scale,symptom checklist 90(SCL-90)and general condition ques-tionnaire.Results:①23.7% of the new cadets had different levels of interpersonal relationship concern;②2.2% of the new cadets might have more serious psychological problems,19.8% of them might be faced with mild psychological problems;③The interpersonal relationship and its various dimensions and SCL-90 total score and total score each factor had statistically positive correlation(r=0.200~0.551,P<0.05).Conclusion:Military cadets have a certain de-gree of interpersonal relationship and psychological problems,which are closely related to mental health of human re-lationships.The improvement of interpersonal relationship of new cadets helps to improve the level of their mental health.关键词
