Abstract
Objective:To compare the behavior problems of boarding school students and non-boarding school students.Methods:Stratified cluster sampling was used to sample 655 boarding school students and 506 non-board-ing school students.Chenbach Children Behavior Checklist(CBCL)and other questionnaires were used as assessment instruments.Results:15 .2% boarding school students were reported to have behavior problems while the percentage was 10.1% in non-boarding school students.There was a statistical significant difference among these two groups. In gender analysis,there were difference in the female groups in somatic problem,anxiety and obsessive problems (t=3.726,2.963;P<0.01)and depressive and withdrawal problems(t=2.479;P<0.05)which implied more problems in these categories in boarding school girls.Conclusion:Boarding school students have higher rates of behavior prob-lems compared to non-boarding j unior high chools.The behavior problems were related with age.关键词
